Título : ESTUDIO COMPARATIVO DE FORMAS DE ARCO DENTAL EN POBLACION NAYARITA UTILIZANDO UNA PLANTILLA CONVENCIONAL Y UNA PLANTILLA PROPUESTA

Resumen : La presente investigación se realizó con el propósito de diseñar una metodología que nos ayude a obtener las formas de área en la población nayarita. El estudio se realizó sobre una muestra de 289 modelos de yeso, a los que se les tomó una copia fotostática de la arcada superior para determinar con ello la forma de arco predominante, utilizando una plantilla convencional y mediante trazos lineales y angulares se obtuvo una forma de arco propuesta. Se encontró que, las formas de arco tomadas con la plantilla convencional se distribuyeron de una forma muy similar a las reportadas en la literatura. En este estudio la distribución fue de la siguiente manera: forma tipo l 37%, tipo ll 12% y tipo lll 51%. De acuerdo a la forma de arco con la plantilla propuesta, los resultados encontrados fueron: tipo l,10%; tipo ll,11% Y tipo lll, 79%; indicando que la mayor parte de la población estudiada, tiene un tipo de arcada ovalada.
Descripción : The present investigation was carried out with the purpose of designing a methodology that will help us obtain the forms of area in the Nayarit population. The study was performed on a sample of 289 gypsum models, which were taken a photostatic copy of the upper arch to determine the predominant arch shape, using a conventional template and through linear and angular lines a shape was obtained. of proposed arch.
