Descripción : In order to develop site-specific mango fertilization programs, it is necessary to have specific information for each producing region. The objective of this work was to determine the evolution of macro and micronutrients through the life of the leaves of the main vegetative flows of the cvs. Ataulfo, Kent and Tommy Atkins. The orchards were located in the state of Nayarit, in the municipalities of Acaponeta, San Blas, Tepic and Compostela. In each orchard 20 trees were randomly selected and in each of them 20 newly emerged shoots of each vegetative flow were marked. Leaves were sampled monthly from birth to abscission and concentrations of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn and B were determined in the dry matter. In order to describe the evolution of each nutrient, its concentrations were predicted for each day of leaf life through the use of mathematical functions, and two vegetative growth flows were recorded in 'Ataulfo' and 'Kent' (spring and summer) as well as in 'Tommy Atkins' (spring and autumn). The nutritional evolution of macro and micronutrients through leaf life was affected by cultivar, vegetative flow and phenological phase. In the three cultivars studied, the nutrient evolution of spring vegetative flow was most affected by the later stages of floral development (cauliflower state to anthesis). In the case of the second vegetative flow (summer or autumn) the nutritional evolution was more affected by the growth of the fruit.
