Resumen : La ciudad se convierte en un espacio de formación de sentido para quienes la habitan y también para quienes no residen en ella. A través de los dispositivos de lo urbano se construye la subjetividad social: Construcción de un capital político y simbólico a partir de determinados referentes. El proceso de urbanización ocurrido en el siglo XX, con miras a culminar en el siglo XXI, puede entenderse como un proceso de cambio de sentido, de invención de nuevas subjetividades sociales.
Descripción : The city becomes a space of formation of meaning for those who inhabit it and also for those who do not reside in it. Through the devices of the urban, social subjectivity is constructed: the construction of a political and symbolic capital based on certain referents. The process of urbanization that occurred in the 20th century, with a view to culminating in the 21st century, can be understood as a process of change of meaning, of invention of new social subjectivities.
