Descripción : The interest that motivated this investigation is the absence of absolute information of the averages and dental longitudinal indexes among the Yucatecan population. In the existing documentation obtained from experts in the area, figures of studies carried out in vitro and in population groups of phenotypology different from that of the Yucatecan inhabitants are inferred. The intention of this study was to be able to relate the anthropometric characteristics of a group of patients, with the length of the root canal of their teeth, as well as to be able to obtain indices and averages that can be used as an element of work when performing clinical practice of conduct therapy. The present descriptive, cross-sectional, observational and prospective study was carried out through a probabilistic sample of the population of patients who, in an average of 5,000 per year, come for their dental attention to the Faculty of Dentistry of the Autonomous University of Yucatan, of which 20% is referred to the Endodontics II clinics.
