Resumen :	Somos hombres y mujeres de dos siglos extraordinarios. El siglo XX, heredero de las grandes ideas y revoluciones del siglo XIX y el XXI que quizá cristalizará los sueños largamente acariciados que quedaron pendientes en la agenda biológica del siglo XX: cáncer, SIDA, neurobiología, diferenciación celular, envejecimiento, medio ambiente y desarrollo sustentable. También será necesario reflexionar, difundir el conocimiento y continuar con la discusión sobre temas tan relevantes como los organismos transgénicos y las terapias génicas.
Descripción :	We are men and women of two extraordinary centuries. The twentieth century, heir to the great ideas and revolutions of the nineteenth and twenty-first centuries that may crystallize the long cherished dreams that remained pending in the biological agenda of the twentieth century: cancer, AIDS, neurobiology, cell differentiation, aging, environment and sustainable development. It will also be necessary to reflect, disseminate knowledge and continue the discussion on issues as relevant as transgenic organisms and gene therapies.
