Descripción : The yields that a crop can reach depend on several factors, both controlled and uncontrolled; to the extent that the controlled factors are brought to the optimum range required by the crop, yield increases and therefore agricultural activity becomes more profitable. Plant nutrition is one of the factors that can be controlled by establishing a balanced nutrition of the crop that considers the nutritional need through the phenological stages, since the needs of the plants vary as they grow and develop their organs. To satisfy their metabolic needs, the plant is supplied with nutrients from the soil. If it does not have the capacity to supply the nutrients, fertilizer products must be applied to correct the nutrient deficiency, allowing the crops to reach the yield maximum limited by uncontrolled factors. The fertilizer products that are used can be organic or chemical; Chemicals are often used because they contain nutrients in high concentrations and when they dissolve, they are practically ready to be absorbed by the root system, so the effects are immediate, however, poor management of this practice leads to deterioration of the soils, because nutrients are often applied excessively or nutrients are applied that the soil has in sufficiency, thus contributing to the contamination of soil or aquifers, another bad practice not to resort to the chemical analysis of soils, what it would allow to apply.
