Resumen : El objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar el nivel de competitividad de las Micro, Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas, dedicadas a la manufactura de alimentos en Tepic, Nayarit; para ello, se utilizaron las Teorías del Desarrollo Económico Local y la Competitividad. La investigación se realizó a través del enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo; en el documento se presenta la clasificación de las empresas, la población y la muestra. Se diseñó y se aplicó un cuestionario a 65 empresas, el instrumento se consta de 93 ítems y comprende tres apartados datos generales, características internas de la empresa y las características del entorno externo de la empresa.
Descripción : The objective of this research is to determine the level of competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, dedicated to food manufacturing in Tepic, Nayarit, using the Theories of Local Economic Development and Competitiveness. The research was carried out through the quantitative and qualitative approach; the document presents the classification of the companies, the population and the sample. A questionnaire was designed and applied to 65 companies, the instrument consists of 93 items and includes three sections: general data, internal characteristics of the company and the characteristics of the external environment of the company.
