Título : DINAMICA DE ABSORCION DE POTASIO EN EL CULTIVO DE LITCHI (LITCHI CHINENSIS SOON)

Resumen : En la presente investigación se va estudiar la dinámica de absorción de potasio, así como su importancia en la nutrición del cultivo de Litchi (Litchi chinensis Soon); con el objetivo de incrementar producción, calidad y vida poscosecha. Para ello se aplicarán tres dosis de potasio, considerando el análisis de suelo para obtener una dosis de referencia, a partir de la cual se formularán dos dosis más del mismo nutrimento (una alta y otra baja, la dosis baja será 50 por ciento menor a la de referencia y la alta 50 por ciento superior). Se evaluarán las siguientes variables: producción de fruto: (Kg árbol-1 ), fruto comercial (Kg árbol-1 ), fruto no comercial (Kg árbol-1 ), concentración de K en tejido foliar en diferentes etapas fenológicas, días a inicio de floración, cuantificación de tipo de flor, porcentaje de floración, longitud de racimo floral, longitud de fruto, peso de fruto, color, grados Brix y vida de anaquel. Se espera generar información específica en la nutrición potásica en el cultivo, para diminuir alternancia, e incrementar rendimiento y calidad.
Descripción : In this research we will study the dynamics of potassium absorption, as well as its importance in the nutrition of the Litchi culture (Litchi chinensis Soon); with the objective of increasing production, quality and post-harvest life. For this, three doses of potassium will be applied, considering the soil analysis to obtain a reference dose, from which two more doses of the same nutrient will be formulated (one high and one low, the low dose will be 50 percent less than the reference and the high 50 percent higher). The following variables will be evaluated: fruit production: (Kg tree-1), commercial fruit (Kg tree-1), non-commercial fruit (Kg tree-1), concentration of K in leaf tissue in different phenological stages, days at the beginning of flowering, quantification of flower type, flowering percentage, floral cluster length, fruit length, fruit weight, color, Brix degrees and shelf life. It is expected to generate specific information on potassium nutrition in the crop, to reduce alternation, and increase yield and quality.
