dc.descriptionBody reconstructions seek a stereotyped model of beauty in women. It is reviewed from the intersection of guestalt psychotherapy and the gender category if the interventions refer to a situation of empowerment. Through in-depth interviews with four women undergoing cosmetic surgery, their subjectivity is restored. The information is grouped into four categories of analysis on the experience of aesthetic surgery: Duty regulation equated to being-for-the other.es_ES

Se revisa desde la intersección de la psicoterapia guestalt y la categoría de género si las intervenciones aluden a una situación de empoderamiento. A través de entrevistas a profundidad a cuatro mujeres intervenidas con cirugía estética, se recupera su subjetividad.
