dc.descriptionOne of the main challenges of Pediatric Dentistry is the management of behavior, which is a fundamental element of success in the specialty, average of a continuous interaction with the child, the father and the dentist directed towards communication and education. The objective of the specialist in managing the patient's behavior is to reduce fear and anxiety by promoting an understanding of the need for good dental health and the process by which it is achieved. The communication between the dentist and the child is built on a dynamic process of dialogue. It is through this communication that dentists can reduce fear and anxiety, teach appropriate behavioral mechanisms and provide self-confidence during dental visits.es_ES
dc.description.abstractUno de los principales retos de la Odontología Pediátrica es el manejo de la conducta, lo cual constituye un elemento fundamental del éxito en la especialidad, promedio de una interacción continua con el niño, el padre y el odontólogo dirigido hacia la comunicación y la educación. El objetivo del especialista al manejar el comportamiento del paciente es disminuir el miedo y la ansiedad al promover un entendimiento de la necesidad de una buena salud dental y el proceso por el cual esta se logra.La comunicación entre el dentista y el niño se construye sobre un proceso dinámico de dialogo. Es a través de esta comunicación que los dentistas pueden disminuir el miedo y la ansiedad, enseñar mecanismos apropiados de comportamiento y brindar confianza en si mismos durante la consulta dental.es_ES
